Recycled Glass Products for Home Landscaping & Playgrounds

CPR Recycling recycles reclaimed, post-consumer glass to create pulverized (rounding sharp edges to smooth) glass products for landscape mulch, fireplace bedding, sandboxes, refurbished beaches, and more!

Benefits and uses for glass in landscaping:

  • Long-lasting and beautiful colors that won't fade (glass takes over 1,000 years to decompose!)
  • Glass mulch is a unique alternative to traditional bark or gravel
  • Good for driveways, parking lots, walkways, garden paths, fish ponds, & fire pits
  • Can be mixed into concrete counter tops or sidewalks for a terrazzo tile effect
  • Used for non-skid and reflective paint
  • Used for decorating fountains and birdbaths
  • Glass is a natural deterrent to slugs

Recycled Glass Mulch

Recycled pulverized glass can be used in place of traditional wood mulch. Glass mulch has better drainage, thus eliminating fading, rot, insect infestation, and mold/fungi. Glass mulch is available in a variety of colors.

Recycled Glass Sand

Recycled glass pulverized to sand-like material can replace aggregate in playground sandboxes. This sand-like material can also be used as a base for stepping stones and walkways.
