You may drop off your glass for recycling at our location 24/7. We are located at 4135 Turpin Rd. on the east side of Decatur, IL (near Mt. Zion).
Please make sure that your glass for recycling is thoroughly washed out, is free of any lids or caps (paper labels are fine), and is an accepted type of recyclable glass (see below) .
Look for our large drop off bin located at 4135 Turpin Rd. in Decatur, IL! Our drop off bin is separated by color: blue, green & yellow, brown, and clear. We also accept aluminum cans. You may bring your recyclable glass to our drop off bin 24/7!
Types of Glass You May Recycle at our Facility
Please be sure to empty and wash/rinse out any glass containers before you bring them to us for recycling! You may leave paper labels on the glass, but please remove any lids or caps.
We will accept:
- Container Glass
- Glass bottles (wine, beer, water, etc.)
- Glass canning jars
- Glass baby food jars
- Glass food & beverage containers of any color
- Drinking glasses (no crystal)
We will NOT accept:
- Ceramic cups, plates, pottery, etc.
- Clay garden pots
- Laboratory glass
- Pyrex or other heat-resistant ovenware
- Hazardous glass containers (i.e. acid containers)
- Vases
